Women Techmakers Barcelona

Hey Techies! Here we are again with our 3rd edition of the Women Techmakers International Women’s Day (IWD)! This year we have a lot of new things prepared for you and we hope to see you all next 10th of March at the Center for Contemporary Culture Barcelona.

Women Techmakers is an initiative leaded by Google with the goal to promote and give visibility to women in tech. With the occasion of the International Women’s Day (IWD), in March and April, communities from all around the world are organizing special events. The purpose is raising the confidence and visibility of women and mitigate the unbalance that we find in the technology sector. Everyone is invited and more than welcome to participate, but what is special about these events is that all speakers are women. In our 3rd edition we will offer a whole day conference. Starting from 9am to 6:30pm with two tracks: one in spanish and one in english. We will enjoy very interesting talks, a workshop and a pair of rounded tables and all of that presented by well-known speakers from our community.

We’re very excited of this edition and we hope to see you all there! Come and join us!

If you’re from another place in Spain, check for other events closer here or abroad here.
